August 10 Hands A basketball in my hands is worth about $19. A basketball in Michael Jordan's hands is worth about $33 million. It depends whose hands it's in A baseball in my hands is worth about $6. A baseball in Mark McGuire's hands is worth $19 million. It depends whose hands it's in. A tennis racket is useless in my hands. A tennis racket in Pete Sampras' hands is a Wimbledon Championship. It depends whose hands it's in. A rod in my hands will keep away a wild animal. A rod in Moses' hands will part the mighty sea. It depends whose hands it's in. A sling shot in my hands is a kid's toy. A sling shot in David's hand is a mighty weapon. It depends whose hands it's in. Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in my hands is a couple of fish sandwiches. Two fish and 5 loaves of bread in God's hands will feed thousands. It depends whose hands it's in. Nails in my hands might produce a birdhouse; Nails in Jesus Christ's hands will produce salvation for the entire world. It depends whose hands it's in. As you see now, it depends whose hands it's in. So put your concerns, your worries, your fears, your hopes, your dreams, your families and your relationships in God's hands because it depends whose hands it's in.

Blessings In Time of Trial Connie C. Bratcher When you can't see the blessings In that trial you're going through, Turn your eyes upon the Lord And you'll have a clearer view. Among the sharp prickly thorns, Are the roses to be found- Just focus on the Saviour And you'll see them all around.
He is the Rose of Sharon, The bright and morning Star- Touched with your infirmities, He's right there where you are.
Just keep your eyes upon Him Whatever you go through, He's your friend beyond compare- The One who died for you.
Though Satan tries to break you When those trials come your way, Christ never will forsake you... He'll bless you every day.
"...for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." "...in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality." (Heb.13:5; IICor. 8:2)
June 01 .......Who You Are....... Connie C. Bratcher Lord, it’s not just what you’ve done for me That makes me love you so, And it’s not the moon and stars I see That sets my heart aglow… It is Who You Are: You are my God, Heavenly Father, Holy Spirit within, My Refuge, my Strength, my Comforter… My Redeemer and Friend. It’s not the beauty of a sunrise That makes me worship You, Nor the songbirds singing in the skies You created so blue… It is Who You Are: You are my Rock, High Tower, Fortress, My Buckler, and my Shield, My Counselor, and my Prince of Peace… The One to Whom I yield. It is not those rich blessings of life Bestowed abundantly, Nor even Your great salvation plan That stirs a flame in me… It is Who You Are: You are my Lord, my Light, and my Life, My Salvation, my King, You are the very breath that I breathe… You Are my Everything! “In Him (Jesus) was life; and the life was the light of men.” “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” “I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.” (Jo 1:4; Ps 18:2; Ps 18:1) April 26 Signs Roger Montgomery The world is pretty busy Traveling is a sign of the times As we go down life’s road We should observe the warning signs. We come to an intersection But we stop just in time We have been alerted And saved by a stop sign. We could disregard them Pretend we are blind But we only hurt ourselves If we don’t obey the warning signs. These signs are for our own good If we obey them we’ll be fine They were made by someone else Wonder who put up these signs? If everybody pays attention You obey yours, I’ll obey mine If we look out for each other That would be a very good sign. Someone went before us Someone had us in mind Someone went to all the trouble To put up all these signs. Sometimes they speed us up But they slow us down sometimes Yet we all owe so much To whoever put up these signs. What are we willing to give up To arrive at our destination safely on time Everywhere we look these days There seems to be a sign. God has gone before us Placed in our hearts and minds A spirit that can recognize and obey Many of life’s warning signs. Someone put them up for us And to me that seems to be fine Someone is looking out for us To me, that’s a sign. Stop is one often used This action is not by natural human design We can save everyone so much trouble When we obey this very important sign. Yield right of way And everything will be fine The other person sometimes comes first Wow, what a sign! One Way is another one To disobey this you must be blind Not every road leads to God This is a most important sign. Road narrows ahead Next three miles are steep incline Keep to the right Some more important signs. Green light means go Caution you should also mind If you don’t use caution You may not stop in time. If you don’t heed the warning If you don’t heed the signs You may go into eternity Because you didn’t stop in time. Red means to stop This seems to take too much time But this is how we will look If we don’t obey this important sign. Sharp curves ahead Road has sharp incline Thank God we can pay attention To all these warning signs. Life has many problems Sometimes detours take up more time But we must keep on going Following all these signs. People are asking each other What’s your sign, what’s your sign Just point them to the cross This is a sign for the times. God has an operator’s manual So His life and ours can entwine He has sent us His Spirit To help interpret all these signs. If we want to know where we’re going And one day with Jesus dine Just keep on the right road And obey all these signs. Let God speak to your heart Just keep this in mind God works for our good So please obey all His signs. Let God speak to your heart Like He has spoken to mine Keep your eyes on the road And obey all these signs. They will be for your health And other people’s health just like mine Have a healthy respect for God And obey all His signs. Jesus spoke to the people Said they could not discern the times He pointed them to the sky And talked about the signs. If God is getting your attention It is no accident that you’re fine Wonder what God is trying to tell you It must be a sign. So next time you’re on the road Please take the time To see what these signs are telling you Then obey all these signs. I guess God loves you Here’s the bottom line Just look at the cross What a sign! What a sign! Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6) April 05 NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE Michelle S. Lowndes Nothing is impossible With the Lord in our lives He causes doors to open So we can walk inside To brand new opportunities We never knew before To a new exciting level In our walk with the Lord With faith in our hearts And our hand in His hand We can cross any canyon And through seas on dry land For He will make a way As in faith our walk begins What seems to us impossible Is possible with Him When feeling like it’s all too much Remember in the past How God had made a way for you When you came to Him and asked And He again will answer you And show you so much more As you keep on trusting Him And walking with the Lord I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. (Rev. 3:8)
